What makes an attractive face different?

Subtitle: Hair Transplantation That Sows Charm

We all have two eyes, one nose, and one mouth—our physical structures are the same. Yet some people are told they're "attractive," while others are told they're "nothing special." Where does this difference come from?

An Evolutionary Psychological Approach to Attraction From an evolutionary psychological perspective, we perceive conditions favorable for reproduction and survival as 'attractive' or 'beautiful'. So what constitutes evidence of such favorable conditions?

1.Symmetry is beauty itself.

The more symmetrical a face is, the more attractive it is.

We are designed to develop bodies with bilateral symmetry, but environmental stressors often cause asymmetrical development. However, individuals with superior genetic qualities overcome these environmental stresses and develop symmetrical bodies.

2.The average is the optimal value.

The 'average' is the optimal value refined by natural selection. This is why a computer-generated composite of many faces appears more attractive than any individual face.

3.Youth is beauty itself.

The younger you are, the more advantageous it is for reproduction and survival. Research shows that we judge age by looking at facial features like the eyes, mouth, cheeks, and head, which is why hair density is important.

4.The Appeal of Men and the Appeal of Women

Women find men with broad shoulders or tall stature attractive, while men find women with narrow waists and wide hips and pelvis attractive. This is presumed to be because they are perceived as stronger and more advantageous for reproduction.

Maxwell's 4 Secrets to Cultivating Charm

1 Symmetry, 2 Optimal, 3 During, 4 Sexual Attraction. The secret to possessing all four elements of attraction lies in the 'golden ratio' and 'line'.

1.Natural symmetry

Two-tone wave design

Artificialsymmetry in the two MIX WAVE designsis unappealing. Transplanting hair as if drawing a straight line along the hairline is the worst approach. It's better to create an irregular, wavy line while matching left-right symmetry. The waves should also be mixed irregularly—not just convex or concave, but both forms combined.

2.Golden Ratio

The golden ratio for the face is 1:1:1.When dividing the face horizontally into three equal parts, the optimal length ratio is 1:1:1. At Maxwell, we aim to set the hairline as close to 1:1:1 as possible.

The vertical golden ratio 1:1:1:1:1Dividing the facevertically is also crucial, resulting in five equal sections as shown in the photo. If these five lengths are identical, it achieves the golden ratio. Maxwell designs by considering the position of the pupils, the end point of the eyes, and the distance between the eyes and temples.

3.Hair Transplant That Even Changes Your Face Shape

Simply correcting the jawline can make your face appear smaller.

A youthful, sophisticated faceIf you could flip the rounded degree of the jawline—stretching from the tip of the chinto below the ears—and create a hairline similar to that, that would be the ideal 'egg-shaped face'. The secret to the charm of an egg-shaped face is that it makes you look younger and somehow exudes an inexplicable sophistication.

Bycorrecting the line extending from the hairlineto the sideburns on the temples, the face's width naturally narrows, making it appear smaller. This creates a much more definedand intelligent image.

4.Sex appeal radiating

The turning point of the hairline differs depending on gender.

For men,the turning point of the hairline should be at the outer corner of the eye; for women,it should be at the outer edge of the pupil. The turning point where the hairline steepens into the sideburns must differ based on gender. If the point where the line drawn vertically from the outer corner of the eye intersects is the turning point, it creates a masculine look. If the point where the line drawn from the outer edge of the pupil (not the outer corner of the eye) intersects is the turning point, it creates a smaller, more feminine face.

The position of the hairline differs depending on gender.

For men, draw a line parallel to the eyebrow; for women, draw a line parallel to the lower edge of the eyebrowand the hairline. When the hairline descends below the eyebrow line, it creates a feminine and soft impression. As it rises upward, it imparts a masculine and refreshing feel.

However, if the angle exceeds 10 degrees, it is recognized as hair loss. The M-shapedhairline is a symbol of masculinity. However, if the angle rises above 10 degrees, it is recognized as hair loss. To maintain masculinity while achieving a youthful, handsome appeal, transplantation should be performed at the ideal angle of 2 to 5 degrees.

Acquired Factors of AttractivenessSuperior physical attributes do not necessarily guarantee attractiveness. Many people may lack conventional physical attractiveness or innate charm, yet radiate social appeal through expressive abilities and social skills.
According to a 2008 study by the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas, individuals who frequently smile, make eye contact, and use abundant positive and proactive body language to communicate were rated as the most attractive. A considerate heart toward others is itself the essence of charm.
